Balloon Imaginarium

Earlier this month I collaborated with my good friend Ashley Smith on a super fun Balloon Installation she had been day dreaming of after seeing something similar in Canada. As part of my contract working with the CBD on Placemaking in Midtown Auckland I wanted to put on at least one fun installation in the city so this idea was the perfect fit. We love making dreams a reality! The Balloon Imaginarium’s purpose is to ignite the creative and... Read More

SPLORE 2012

Ok. Here is SPLORE summed up for me in a few words; Erykah Badu the queen herself live in person, beautiful beachfront location in New Zealand, multiple stages and zones, art installations, workshops, super diverse and yummy food selection, great tunes, fun performances and the best friends! Late night swims, unexpected craziness (in the good kinda way), dancing in the rain, good vibes, lots of laughs, dancing till my legs don’t want to move... Read More

It is also not every day we are given a flower by a beautiful stranger…which is exactly what artist Tiffany Singh... Read More

The Army of Snipers crew got their engineering... Read More

Little Lotus Project – Week One Recap

It’s Sunday evening here in Mae Sot, and I am chilling out after finishing up with the first week of the Spinning Top Little Lotus Project. I think I can speak for the group in saying we are all a bit sad to say goodbye to the kids at SAW. In one week we accomplished so much! The artists collaborated with 25 students to create a vibrant alphabet mural, adding so much colour to the school. It was so sweet to see the kids interacting with the... Read More

The Dirty 13 – Opening Night

Last Wednesday was the opening of The Dirty 13, a street art exhibition I had the pleasure of being apart of this year. This exhibition was part of a larger event happening at the Basement called The Basement Fest. Charlie and the team at The Basement were awesome to work with and it was such a dynamic, energetic spot to hang over the last few weeks. The space itself was a bit challenging compared to your stock standard gallery, but that was part... Read More
